Why not? Unless you are speaking purely from a cosmetic point of view because with a few minor upgrades, I can see the HHR SS running equivalent or better times than your car

I don't really get the negativity, it looks cool and will go faster than a stock one. Sure it does not have the high quality interior of our F-bodies, and maybe it wont be as fast a Z06 but I am sure for the price many people will buy it and enjoy it. I can't wait to see one on the road.

I also kinda laugh at this, the 4th gen interior was far from high quality and the HHR interior's fit and finish is way above the 4th gen interior even with the flaws the HHR's may have.

I agree its a love it/hate it design but with a 260 horse turbo 4 thats probably gonna have big aftermarket support, its more than worthy of wearing the SS name. Not every SS was a V8

Personally, I cant wait for the Cobalt turbo SS

I love the HHR. I test drove one a while back and if I was looking to get a new car, it's right there with the Cobalt for me.

Should be a neat car-like-thing. What's the price point on it?

I think it looks a lot better in the front now. Should be pretty sporty with 260 horses.

Edit: I Googled the HHR and came across this photoshop. I like the front end of it. I'm really not judging the window treatment they gave it.

What a PT cruiser rip off that car is. Good thing GM came out w/ their creative juices on that design.

POS, regardless of horsepower.

they HHR may not be an original idea.. but it's a different design.. and it's much better executed than the PT Cruiser imo

You all realize that Bryan Nesbitt, the designer of the PT Cruiser also designed the HHR. Same guy. He was hired to create a competing to the PT. Who else is better to make a better vehicle, than the guy that created his own competition.

Um my interior comment was sarcasm. When someone on a Camaro board says another car has a ****ty interior... I make reference to that in the 4th gen Camaro's. I do not feel my interior is all that nice but thats not the point of the car. Neither is it the point of the HHR. It is an affordable neat looking car, that will now be an affordable, neat looking, fast little car.
