Can anyone say HHR SS three times fast? Talk about alphabet soup.

And if you extend it to HHR SS Turbocharged it takes half a day just to read or say the name.

What's wrong with an HHR? Its cheap, its cool looking, it DOESNT look like a warmed over American badged import car, and now it'll make your worn out LT1 get its feelings hurt by a "van."

You guys bitch more than a bad girlfriend. lol

I doubt it could beat my Z28....I can't see that thing bein in the 13s, Considering it is getting the same engine as the REDLINE vehicles in the Saturn lineup. I'm just getting fairly irritated with GM slapping the "SS" badge on everything this side of China

At least they saved face changing 'Equinox SS' to 'Sport'...

i have a feeling this car will be quite worty of the SS badge..

that's not saying they havent been putting SS on too many cars that don't deserve it.. the Cobalt SS (non-supercharged) the malibu SS... the Silverado SS.. those vehicles did not deserve the SS badge...

i think this HHR SS will.. we'll see

I've always like the front end of the HHR, and its curves. I can't say I enjoy how GM totally made it a corporate slave for rental agencies with bland colors, interiors, and crappy automatic transmissions, just like the Cobalt...

I think the SS version will be nice, just as I think the Cobalt SS is decent. Neither of them would make me run to a dealer to buy one, but I think it's better than the other offerings out there.

The explains the design ripoff.

I get a 404 when I click the link in the original post.

I saw an HHR SS on the road with Manufacturer plates months ago.

I also saw a PT Cruiser GT (2.4L turbo) running 12.1@116 in 90-degree heat at the drag strip a few days ago.

Hey Jake, did anyone ever ask the guy in the 12.1 sec. PT GT what all he had done to it? Last year a guy in a silver PT GT at Milan was running low 13s and beat my Trans Am. I was so pissed I wanted to shoot my car. I sold it and bought a WS6 TA with bolt ons and I am now running in the 12s. It sucks to find out a little boxy 4 banger is running low 12s in the heat. Now I need heads and cam to catch up. :-(

I honestly don't see how anyone who dislikes other breadbox looking vehicles (like the Scions and others) can think this vehicle looks decent.

They're all screaming ugly to me.

Although the HHR isn't a vehicle that appeals to me, I'd say it definitely has more styling substance and thought than this....
