Charger coupe...
Re: Charger coupe...
That looks so, so, so, so, so much better
I dont like that concept because its retro. I like it because it looks good. "thats it, 'n thats all"
fact is, a lot of cars from back in the day looked good. That doesnt mean we cant design anything new that looks good, it just seems that the big 3 have a hard time with that.

"Now I also happen to like 69 Chargers, that is why I liked the original Charger concept. I like the pic, its just that its not real. It just seems that when you mention retro and Camaro in the same sentence ppl seem to got nuts, and here's an obviously retro Charger pic and ppl are lovin' it! Seems like a double standard. If you like the original, one would think, you would like to see a modern interpretation of it. GM seems to have a whole set of rules they have to play by. "
at least you understand where Im comming from..
Its like if you took a PSP that just came out and threw some Atari 2600 stickers on it and gave it some cool finned cover like the original Atari had...its an Atari 2600 right?? Would look cool but not an Atari 2600...its a PSP...just like this car no matter how much you say you like this photoshop charger its not a 1969charger it is a 2005 Charger with vintage stuff on it...
the 2005 Charger is something that DCX is trying to make new and exciting, instead of going back why not go with the new style and run with it....retro can only go for certain things..and doing every muscle car retro is defeating the purpose..the Mustang it works for cus the Mustang is just that "Mustang"

Probally the result from all these years of seeing everything except F150s converted into someone's "Concept Camaro" or everyone but my sister's cat coming up with some version of what something "should have" been.
Or perhaps I prefer and appriciate the skills of guys who actually put pencil to paper.
To me Photoshop is like looking at someone's computer manufactured Calligraphy writing, and comparing it with people who have spent effort and time to learn to do it themselves.
Just an personal opinion, that's all.
