If a Camaro does appear again, by the time it does, 40K will be the average price of a car...

Well, Ford may want to consider lowering it's price and sweetening the deal with an IRS.

I was refering to the pattern that GM followed with the camaro. "A camaro cannot have the hp rating as a base corvette."

Unless we finally have a change in strategy, in which case I woundn't be complaining .

That's the beauty of competition! It's going to be more about how Camaro compares to Challenger and Mustang.

Besides, with the Z06, etc., Corvette will be giving Camaro plenty of head room.

Not to derail the thread, but you have to watch it. Being independently employed, I don't think you can appreciate what we go through in the corporate world.

First off to the LS2 comment.. I can't wait for the comparos to start.. I'll be in line with my checkbook for a 5th gen. I'm just waiting to see what the sheet metal will look like (besides the 69 cues) I hope it looks sexy ala G35 (proportion wise), be short as a SN95 and powerful as a true Camaro should be.. all that and I'll be happy.. Am I being too picky???

About Office Space. I highly recommend it it is a classic movie worth watching.
PS: Remember the TPS report... it was so funny it made it's way into the Matrix game...

They do it when you come to the great state of NJ, where Sunnoco 93 is at 2.50, and they pump it for you with a smile

GM>*
NJ>*

The End.

Not picky at all. I want EXACTLY the same thing!

And there are people at GM that know I'll be one pissed off Camaroist, if I don't get it.

Expecting an LS7 to appear seems like wishful thinking. I wouldn't want my $70k Vette sharing powerplants with a sub-$50k Camaro.

Re: Camaro Z/28 vs Challenger SRT-8 vs Mustang GT500

What he's saying is that by the time the new Camaro is released, it will probably have an entirely new motor (no doubt shared with the Vette and others) and it's designation will be LS-'something'....or mabe they go back to just 'L-'...
