"Camaro" in the News
Problem is that once you have a few mods on the Cobra, buh bye half shaft. I don't see a car company (American or Japanese one anyway) spending the extra dough to make a mass produced car rear end bullet proof. We all know GM rears will hand grenade on you with slicks and a few mods currently. I have to wonder. I'm sure the aftermarket will address it though like they do with the Cobra.
So we basically have about 3 years and 4 months till the car is available to the public, with less than three years until the "new car" unveiling and all the magazine articles, which leaves maybe 2 years or less before a concept needs to debut.
Can anyone say NAIAS 2005 in January?

If its that long away, leaked tidbits and concept cars will be enough to keep me entertained till it actually comes out.
True, when a car comes out in 2008 it's a 2007. So that's about right. You won't have to worry about the stang, it's suppose to be killed after 05, that's if Ford follows their plan. I think there is no way they can leave the Camaro out of Chevy because that's the only rear wheel drive performance car they have. GTO came out, I heard it's only to boost Pontiacs sales, but if the Stang is gone, the T/A replaced with GTO, and no Camaro, that's leaves the damn imports as the new breed, and we all know we dont' want that to happen.

I wouldnt say that just yet, look at what happened in '67. Camaro came out and took all kinds of sales away from the Mustang. It can do the same thing in today's world because it will basically be like in the 60's, a BRAND new pony car (wearing the Camaro nameplate I hope) coming out to go toe to toe with the Mustang.

There are a lot of reasons Mustangs have been so popular over the years, but one of the major ones was being first to market. Before anyone responded, Ford had a million new customers singing the praises of their new 'pony car' and contributing to its popularity this very day.
By giving the new 2005 Mustang time to win fans and develop a huge aftermarket, the are making the same mistake again .

You have to be the out right most stupid person on this entire board!!! Ford will never kill the Mustang. That’s like GM killing the Vette. So how’s your 150mph 3.4L? Hahahaha…..retard.
