That 2.9 turbo diesel sounds like a sweet motor.

The rear end reminds me of the Cien. I am not so sure about the whole car though. I need to see it in person. It looks kind funny in the pictures.

It's like what the Crossfire should have been, instead of rounding off the rear end of a edge shaped front.

I HATE when they do that! If a car is left hand drive, WHY is the filler cap on the right side????

Similar in profile to the Evoq concept many years ago... but much nicer! Almost has a stealth bomber like, hunkered stance when viewing that front end.

If this is an example of what Cadillac are bringing over downunder, bring it!

This is one of the shots I was talking about that was to be a preview of the new CTS sedan back in early 2006, but actually it was the coupe.

Really? I kind of prefer it there. I'm always worried about banging my massive Camaro door on the concrete islands around gas pumps, with the filler on the driver's side.

You know, I'm the same way, putting it on the other side removes the chance of banging your door on the guardrails by the pumps, or hitting the curb the pump is installed on.

Oh, I thought you had a problem with them from a technological standpoint.

Yes really. Especially when Im in a hurry or in the cold. I hop out pop the gas cap and pump. I dont like going all the way around the car to pump gas.

The 4th gen doors were massive. Ive never heard it explained that way. I went to a MD Ocean City Cruise fest one year during hurricane season in my 98. I was so impressed with the areo dynamics of the car. I went to a hotel and just cracked my door and it was ripped from my hand and slammed into a brick pillar. Thats extreeme but it always felt to me like it was hasle dealing with that bulk compared to my 69 camaro or my 06 accord.

I see what youre saying, but it just seems more ergonomic if not coveinent to me to be on the drivers side. I feel the same way about the emergency hand brake. I hope camaro is driverside.

To me its the same as parking next to a curb or another car in a tight spot.
