I hope it isn't 60 grand!! I imagine the pricing would be similar to the sedans, no?

Probably, but I want a CTC-V.

Did some googling, and I find evidence both for and against that term. Anyone have proof (i.e. a source within GM)?

I think it's probably just assumed that the 'C' stands for Catera. If you look at recent history and how models have been replaced:

Seville became STS.
Deville became DTS.
Catera became CTS(?)

Right. As far as I can tell, though, officially, the initials on all of those cars haven't really stood for anything for a few years.

Ya know I hated the old CTS... but I love the new CTS sedan interior, driving experience, and feature set. The only thing I don't love about the CTS sedan is the exterior looks, which aren't bad, but they aren't good either, IMO.

But wow did this CTS fix that. That is a seriously hot looking car on the outside and continues with the same great interior + some sporty looking trim. Looks like a 100% winner to me.

Exterior looks... odd to me. Has a more hatchback look to it than a typical coupe does. I want to see it in person. Looks weird as hell in pictures though.

You know I've been going over these pics. of this coupe........And I believe this is the car that was under wraps last year on 60mins. when they previewed the headlights, part of the front-end and the taillights by lifting up the corner of the cover. I remember last year when the CTS was unveiled I thought, they changed the headlights and taillights.

I'll have to dig up that old thread and take a look at the pics. again.

Looks good IMO. The rear 3/4 is very different and with that fast roof line not very coupe looking as it extnds far on the rear deck. The interior looks great as color really enhances the overall CTS interior design.

Wonder how much it will cost? V-series version would be very nice.

What about C = Cimarron in CTS
