Cadallac (sp) XLR
Re: Cadallac (sp) XLR
There are long waiting lists here on the east coast and just about everyone has a dealer mark up. Not sure if its still the case, but I was told they were only made in runs which means they make them for a month or 2, then switch to making something else. I know at the Caddy dealer where I bought my V they sold another guy a V that had been waiting over 6 months for the XLR.
Re: Cadallac (sp) XLR
One of my moms neighbors just bought a Cadillac XLR too
I feel spoiled just being near these cars. The most beautiful car that silver metallic paint has ever touched. Sorry, had to post about it

Re: Cadallac (sp) XLR
If anyone's seriously interested, I've got one of the five remaining new 2004 Thunder Gray XLRs in my showroom. An amazing machine to say the least! And Thunder Gray won't be available next year! The car I have here will likely be the second most collectable XLR after the Neiman Markus Edition.

Re: Cadallac (sp) XLR
I saw two blue ones yeterday... they're just gorgeous, bottom line. I also cant wait to see the XLRv.
btw, if you want a great history on Cadillac (the reason my dad fell in love with them, which in turn is the reason I fell in love with Caddys) read Cadillac: The American Standard. It's out of print but usually you can find it at libraries. It'll outline imo the most rich automotive company's history and everything it's done for the modern car. You'd be supprised how Henry Leland changed the face of automobiles
