Cadallac (sp) XLR
Cadallac (sp) XLR
These are already out right? I saw one today drive by infront of me when I was pulling out of the bank. One thing that suprised me is that it looks huge. It really looks like the length of a camaro, almost like a stretched out vette. Other then that it looked like it did in the pictures.
Re: Cadallac (sp) XLR
They are all over the place up here in S.E. Michigan, and they are pretty stunning. I've actually driven the car to triple digit speeds on a circular track in Arizona.
Pretty nice. I have two complaints about the car: 1) It needs wider rubber to do a better job of filling out the 3/4 view and covering the rim of the wheel (not to mention for better grip, etc.), and 2) the rear bumper should have been flush with the rear face of the trunk area, as it was on the Evoq. The car is kind of messed up in profile compared to the Evoq because the XLR's rear bumpers stick out a few inches beyond the back edge of the car.
OK, I guess three complaints, because of course I'd like to see a manual tranny option, as well. But given the competition's transmission choices, I can understand the auto-only route.
Oh, and I don't think the car looks big at all. *shrug*

Pretty Stunning to say the least....One of my neighbors has one. Whenever I see it in his driveway or around town, I can't look at anything on the road except that. Its absolutely, positively, purely beautiful.

$110,000? MSRP is just over $76,000. What drug is this dealer on?

Can't agree on the XLR looking "big".
The section where they are built at the Bowling Green Plant is pretty interesting as it's a station build rather than a traditional "line" build.

P.S. I was comparing some car prices in the past between US and Canada, and after i did the conversion the cars bought in Canada came out to a bit cheaper.
Re: Cadallac (sp) XLR
I like the looks of the XLR alot better than the Evoq concept car. The Evoq looked cool, but something about it wasn't quite right, its hard to explain. Can't wait to see how the XLR-V turns out.
