Re: Buick Enclave

Am I the only one who is unsure of this? Looks pretty weird if you ask me. Weird headlights and weird Corvette-like curves.
The interior is ok I guess. Not my cup of tea, but whatever.

Re: Buick Enclave

That looks very nice and would mark the first Buick that seems nice enough to truely compete with Lexus - unlike the other crap they've been putting out 'with lexus in mind'.

Just keep it in the 30 to under 40k range and it'll do well, I think.

Re: Buick Enclave

WOW, I love that. Inside and outside is drop-dead gorgeous!!! If this makes it to production as is, I will have a hard time choosing between this and the 5th gen

I think I'll have to buy both!!!!!

As for the original poster who wishes the center console and buckets in the rear to make it for production, I think they might actually alter that part of the vehicle for production. I mean how are you going to fold the seats down for cargo?? That will be a quite a decision when it is produced. Maybe they will offer two versions? Like how you can have buckets or a bence on the Tahoe's 2nd row seats?

Re: Buick Enclave

As already stated, this is the vehicle to seriously challenge Lexus' ilk. Buick will conquest sales with this elegant vehicle. Buick just needs one or two more smash hits and it will be a great GM brand, IMO.

THat thing is a home run, the exterior styling is awesome too. (did I just say that about a Buick )
I agree, it does almost seem too good for Buick. This could be the first actual legitimate Lexus competitor from Buick, if they can bring as much content from the concept as they can into production. This car would be a good Lexus Rx fighter.

Re: Buick Enclave

What is the ETA on it? A 2+2+2, cute. I'm not usually a fan of wood grain interiors but this one does look good. Harley Earl is smiling upon Bob Lutz.

ETA late 2008. Also I read it could start as low as $27K.

Re: Buick Enclave

What a huge improvement over the Rondezvous. I actually though that some of vehicle looked pretty decent. The interior is the biggest improvement. This vehicle is very encouraging for new GM vehicles comming out in the new future. Where is that CTS?

Re: Buick Enclave

Autoweek is claiming that the Enclave will replace the Rendezvous and Rainier. They also say it will be for sale in 2007 about 18 months from now. This would assume it’s a 2008 model.

Autoweek also states the 6 passenger seating will be replaced with 7. The rear most captains chairs and console will be replaced with a 3 passenger seating setup.

Well, granted it is not practical, but yeah. I love the look of the two rear seats and they just look so comfortable.
