My point was everything in Pontiac shoudln't look like it just because it is the perfomance division. Hell everything in Pontiac shouldn't move like it either.

I hate those cars. Its just yet another 300 flavors of vanilla that both chevy and pontiac have in there lineup. Try this one LUTZ the reason GM is sucken ***** is becuase they sell the same car through 8 different DIVISIONS! To top it off its all BLAND Cheap styleing. Nothing GM has is on par with the rest of the automakers. Styleing sucks, reliablility isnt that great either and the quality of materials used isnt exactly the greatest. In another tread a board member wanted to cut costs and corners to get a v8 rwd car here. Guess what? GM has always done that to the f-bod and when it looks like *** and has terrible reliablility then they ask themselves why it flopped? Then they are just gunna cancel the car AGAIN.

If GM cant do the car right then they shouldnt do it at all. As far as lutz dropping divisions he cant afford to. The reason why they are loseing sales is because other then the gp, g6 and gto the rest of pontiacs lineup sucks and is meant to be a rentle fleet. Same for chevy they have vehicles that run from the tracker to the vette. The only distinguishing vehicles are the SSR, Vette and Silverado SS. All others are Mundane and all rentle fleet vehicles. I couldnt find one thing i liked about any of chevys lineup except for the vette.

Buick i feel is a lost cause just like oldsmobile. Olds never got any PR and was just phased out. Buick yet again has 300 flavors of vanilla that you can get in any other division. Buick sales blow because all they did was advertise on the PGA tour and tiger woods was the spokes man. Now they are useing Aerosmith in a sad attempt to attract people who are younger. GM did it right with caddy when they amped it up full force by putting it in the superbowl, several TV & Radio ads and it paid off because now there rep is bigger then ever.

I hate to say it but ford is getting it right and chrysler is right on its heels. Ford has offerings for everyone all in 1 DIVISION.

 

Bob doesnt even like the way the GTO looks, he seems to speak as if its going to get a face lift. They have a whole array of cars coming to Pontiac, including the G8, G4, solstice, and more

 

I'm sure bob hd to approve the car before its new sheetmetal went to production...

The New York times! Here it is in a nutshell. The NYT/LAT is about as BIAS as you can get. And in their eyes GM is the devil! They are the far left fringe of our society, and in their twisted view GM makes gas guzzling Hummers,Suburbans, etc , and other SUV's so yes, to them GM is the big evil corporate Devil. They are on a mission to bring them down, just as they are republicans. They also reported in the early polls kerry was winning, and we all know what happened there, right? Tell ppl Bush is losing and some( seniors particularly) might not come out to vote due to the fact their guy is losing=helps their guy, get it. When they are having closed door meetings with members of the DNC , what do you think they are talking about! They have an agenda ppl and its clear! As I mentioned in another thread 95 front page Abu Graib stories and 2 Danny pearl stories on the back page! Ford and DCx is not the #1 automaker that is why GM is on the top of their list. Once they take down GM the others will follow.
