I dont mean Buickman against GM, I mean all of us against eachother, all the GM fans, the enthusiast... we can all simply agree to disagree, but we dont, we want to fight nit pick, whether some future f-body will be Live suspension, or a few more inches on the mustang, or why cars are taller now days... Sure they are important topics but how much really is there to say about how we've all in a sense outgrown the camaro?

I'm not here to flame, nor to rant at the moment, just point out the obvious we arent working toward the goal. we are just sitting here talking, sometimes rationally, sometimes humorusly, sometimes hostile words are passed back and forth; such as "banned"

NewbieWar, that was one of the most inspiring posts(#44) i have seen. it's good to see other people around my age(i'm 25)that love and respect what GM is capable of doing and only want to see them produce vehicles that will capture peoples attention like they used to. RP said ion another post the 60s were gone. i agree 100%. there can never be another 454 chevelle or another DZ302 camaro. what there can be are vehicles that can capture the "impact" these cars have on the enthusiasts today. i know GM is capable of putting the soul back into an automobile market where most average people can't tell the difference between a toyota and a honda and a nissan etc. i've always thought GM was one of the greatest companies at turning ordinary cars into something special(they invented the muscle car for cryin out loud) i think todays market is prime for them to do this again. i think the V8 FWD cars a step in the right direction. lets see what else they come up with.

No, you get it straight, or stop lying. You told them to pay you $100,000 a month for the first 3 months. That's a big fat salary.

For those keeping count, this is the second time I personally have called him on this specific lie in the past two days. I'm pretty sure just about every regular poster here has called him on 1 or 2 lies, while Red and Pacer have each made him look like a total fraud about 20 times per post.

Re: Banned on CamaroZ28.com!

I think GM still has the capabilities...

I dont know about any of you, but I've never owned a 60's car, nor do I really have any intentions, all though that 69 is beatiful, even next to their vinal top 69 camaro ss...

let me give you a reason why GM still has the capabilities and what they have done for me, and probably the most of you...

My grandfather was a chevy guy, my mom just told me that all her life she has tried to get him to buy from the great automakers from Japan, this is of course after I told her that she should buy a Chevy to replace her camry. My recent job has been a shock in my family.

vehicles that I remember having as far as I can. Those are all the vehicles that have had a spot in my driveway within the last 20 years of my life. 7 are still there...

a late 70's Volkswagon Rabit (terrible, and totally gutless)
a mid 80's Toyota truck from what I heard got the engine replaced at 250k miles and is now up to about 400k but we dont own it any more
a early 80's Misubishi Vista peice of crap...
a first year toyota T100, peice of junk recalled engine... but still running, at 140k miles
a 1989 F350 probably still running 75k miles w/ no engine or tranny problems killed 2 or 3 alternators a radiator and a bunch of cats (had to lower the gear tho it couldnt haul my 24k lbs up my hill, had to get the horses out and walk em to the top...
a 1989 Acura Integra 4 door, was alright kind of sporty for the time I guess, zippy brother blew a cylinder coming over the grapevine at 100+mph
1998 toyota camry still have this hunk of problems but it still runs, mom expects it to run for another 3 years (a total of 10 years on the car)
2003 F350 V10, I guess its ok, never been in it, and its supposed to haul the load like a champ
2003 Toyota Tundra, gas pedal is way to sensitive, and for a manual transmission it needs a tach
2003 Toyota Matrix XLS w/ a defective emergency brake from factory.
2000 Honda Civic Dono much about that

Edit--- ohh my cars, 1994 formula, and a 2005 elantra (this one really sucks but it drives from point a to b)

Now in 2003, my buddy's z28 was such a nice ride, so smoth and powerful I couldnt help myself and got a lt1, a firebird also a 1994... and being raised anti american expecally GM, I have come a long way, I love to ruit for the underdog and GM right now is an underdog, a big dog but still...
that was in 2003, I joined this site, put up 1000 posts trying to fix every thing the previous owner let go to crap. and I am still overly satisfied no matter what anyone says... I went from anti GM, slinging the Phrase "Chevrolet, Like a Rock: Yes It just sits there" to praising the General.

because of my experiance I know GM still has the capablities to make anyone a fan of them.

THey have just forgot how to use what they already know

Re: Banned on CamaroZ28.com!

You are wrong. I said pay for performance. Only when LaNeve mentioned my having to resign as GM of Suski did I ask for the 100 per month. Otherwise, nothing. No, you haven't caught me in any lie. My intention is turning GM around. I've done it for a number of dealers and can do it for GM. Yet they won't try even one step of The Plan, a sign of their short-sighted incompetence.
Ever hear Joe Girard? He claims he's #1, the world's greatest. He states "You gotta believe in yourself or no one else will". Nothing wrong with such statements if you can back it up. I've sold over 13,000 GM vehicles, hard evidence of ability, knowledge, and experience. Knock me all you want, I know what I'm capable of regardless of the personal attacks.

Wasnt this quite a bit to ask for? After all, Gen Mgr salaries are normally in the 175-200k year range in medium size cities. Granted you may exceed this average considering your numbers of units moved.

Re: Banned on CamaroZ28.com!

It's less than I make in a year. I would devote virtually my entire working hours to implementing The Plan. Meanwhile my source of income would be gone and I would be replaced at the dealership, making a return there unlikely. That is a tremendous risk when you consider the income over a number of years. I was willing to take the chance because I believe in Return to Greatness. It's called putting your money where your mouth is.

First of all, this site is not a democracy, nor is this forum anyone's play area.

Second, if someone doesn't belong here, I need to know reasons why. E-mail me, don't start trouble.

Finally, some of you who I thought knew how to behave need to review the User Agreement, as it applies to EVERYONE.
