Re: AWD and the 5th gen

Interesting point...AWD sure would cut back on the torque steer issue, for sure. Having never driven a WRX or EVO, I wonder how much torque steer (if any) cars like that produce? The only AWD sports car I've ever driven was a '97 Talon TSi AWD, which didn't have a hint of torque steer...but it was also only 210hp.

...because regardless of what we think, know, or think we know, nobody on this earth can accurately predict sales. No amount of posting here is going to change that, and if person "A" believes it will hurt, while person "B" believes it will help, then that's just what they are going to believe, because there is no hard, indisputable evidence to prove one opinion over the other.

Idle thoughts...not to be confused with "deep thoughts"...for those of you with SNL experience.

Just on a side note:

Are there currently any V8 AWD coupes/sedans for sale in the US?

The Audi sedans with V8 are all AWD. Cadillac STS and Chrysler 300C have it as an option as does Mercedes with the E500, S430, and S500.
