The lx cars absolutely had an interior update. Maybe 2 years ago? I had a 2006 Charger and the new interior is much nicer. I still think its not bad. Its better then the 5th gen camaro but not as good as GM's other new interiors.

I'm sure new options became available like Bluetooth and Nav, but visually I'm not seeing it.

 

The materials were updated. The design has always been good.

 

I think the major difference is the center console for the Dodge LX's was changed to that of the 300's.

I've sat in a few Challengers, and it's essentially the same as my car's.

 

Your 2009 picture is wrong-


The materials in the Charger are okay..just ugly (steering wheel especially). Some things like the HVAC cluster is a design disaster.

Challenger got a fairly new interior (don't see many crossover parts)...but Dodge did not spend much money on it.
