That looks awesome! The only pictures I've seen of the SS were of a dark blue extended cab version. Until now. I think looks much cooler as a regular cab.

It sure does!

I think regular cabs look better because they have that classic American three box design...kinda' why '32 Ford 3-windows look good.

An extended cab just messes up those proportions, (kinda' like '32 Ford 5-windows do.)

Also, I really like the minimalist approach to this truck. I've always thought luxury appointments and excess glitz on trucks are alittle silly.

That thing looks more like the Silverado SS than the Silverado SS does! They should build it as soon as m*****f***ing possible!

Also, call me crazy, but I cannot picture it selling for $23k. $30k sounds more like it, and still conservative.

I hope that the$23K price tag is real. Just remember that this Silverado SS is based on the Silverado 2wd, shortbox 1500 with a base price of $19,145.

I like that one a lot more than the other (cough Sierra Denali cough) SS. I only wish GM would give it the power it needs to compete with the Ford and Dodge camps.

Exclamation

They bring that truck out with the 6.0 V8 with over 340hp and 6 speed for $23,000, I'll take back every bad thing I said about the Silverado SS.

They bring it out without a speed governer, I'll even surprise my friends & recommend it.

How light could you get this possible future SS. I guess around 4100 lbs in the stripped down configuration. Tubular suspention, engine cradle, headers, aluminum block ect. Could you get it down to 3800 lbs?

GuionM - what have you dug up on this different Silverado SS
