Okay ... I'll participate .....

I'm gulp 40. Married with 3 kids and 1 more on the way. I'm currently employed as Director of Research and Statistics for my Province's Department of Education. I never plan to move from where I live .... except the final move

I spend most of my time working or playing with the kids (Most time seems to be with my 13 year old and his hockey team). I suppose I spend time with my wife too .... or else number 4 wouldn't be on the way.

I plan to buy a 2+2 something with a V8 in 2005 to 2006. Willing to delay plans for something really nice.

Hi All,

Great idea Branden. You're right, I rarely go to the lounge here.

I'm 42, married to my first wife, no kids. I'm partner/controller in a small commercial interior general contracting business and controller for a related custom millwork shop.

"We" drive a 2002 Envoy SLT 4 x 4, 1999 Camaro SS Convertible plus the beater 1996 GMC Sonoma 4 x 4.

Since getting the Camaro in July of '99 We've hit the road for a number of F-body events which accounts for the 54,000 miles we've managed to log on the SS.
2000 & 2001 SLP Engineering Customer Appreciation in Ann Arbor, Michigan
2002 SLP Performance Parts Customer Appreciation in Hebron, Ohio
IndY2K in Indianapolis, Indiana
2001 & 2002 Camaro & Firebird gathering in Bowling Green, Kentucky
2000 & 2001 Bragg-Smith Advanced Driving School, Pahrump, Nevada with the SSOA.

I Autocross regularly, and hit the drag strip on occasion. I'm looking for 12's without touching the motor. Best to date is a 13.094 on a clutch that was going away.

My primary hangout is the SSOA Message Board, www.chirpthird.com where I also serve as a moderator.

My name is Jason Debler and I am co-owner of CamaroZ28.Com, TurboBuick.Com, ChasingStanley.Com and a couple of other ventures.

I am married and have a 6 year old son and a 120lb. Rottweiler.

I have a 2002 Camaro SS, a 2002 Malibu (wife's car), and a 2000 Jeep Cherokee (daily driver)

I am one of the directors of the SSOA.

I am close to accepting a side job with the NMCA (http://www.nmca-racing.com).

Did I mention I also have a day job on top of all of this? Ironcially, I work for the agency that does ALL advertising for Ford in their digital division. I work on Ford web sites during the day. My wife works as a contractor to GM in their Powertrain division.

I am also a part-time insomniac. When I manage to sleep I frequently dream in Windows dialog boxes and when I am awake I often forget what day it is and sometimes lose track of time.

I work about a block away from the Renaissance Center, which houses GM's headquarters in downtown Detroit and is where our friend Red Planet works. He and I talk or meet for dinner frequently.

For a hobby I do what you are looking at right now, watch hockey games and play hockey when I am not injured from it. When I can I collect die-cast cars, although I am selling most of my collection off.

I suppose that is it.

I'm 37 and own an advertising agency. Happily married, no kids, no plans for any (we have cars instead).

Both my wife and I are grease-under-the-fingernails, skinned-knuckles car people. Fact: when we got married, we registered only at Sears and only asked for tools.

Besides cars, I'm interested in writing (I've just had my first science fiction story accepted for publication), wine, cigars, and high-end A/V (my actual degree is in engineering, and I spent five years designing equipment for a high-end audio company).

Closest we've gotten to car advertising is a local campaign for an Acura dealer that's attracted the attention of their national agency, which used it as an example of how dealer advertising should be done. The American car dealers seem to be too stupid to appreciate our services.

When I read the title, I thought you meant some kind of in-person meet-and-greet. But this is cool too...and probably more practical.

My name is Nick, I'm 19, and live in northern Indiana. I live with my uncle, he's 70 and in so-so health, so I'm here to help him out until he passes away. I have a g/f which im somewhat serious with right now.
I detail cabs at a local cab company, but I'm about to start a side business through their facilities. I really want to start an e-commerce site or co-own one, but there seems to be no one else out there who alreaddy knows webdesign willing to do it.
I bought my first car in February, a '95 Camaro V6. Now I own a 2002 Insight till winter is over. Then I plan to get a sub $12K LT1/LS1 until the 2005 GTO comes out w/ 405 HP, I'm saving up for that alreaddy.
I love the NBA, and have been a near die-hard fan since I was a toddler. I used to play basketball before I broke my ankle last year, and I can't play competitively anymore, because it twists everytime I do. So now I'm an internet nerd
I also like to philosophise about life whenever I'm by myself or in the right mood. I love Metallica and all kinds of rock music. I play guitar a few hours a week. And...I think that covers most of it....

Good idea Branden

Hi my name is Jim. I live in central Ontario. I'm 32 years old. I'm a dentist, I have a little practice in the main floor of my house.
I spend alot of my free time exercising and playing sports. I love hard rock music.
I have been in love with camaros since I was 18. I owned a 1984 z28 for about four years in the early 90's. I have since always wanted to own another one. I still have the occasional happy dream that I'm driving my old camaro again.
I'm also a car nut. I love reading car magazines, web sites, newspaper articles about cars, etc.

Hello everyone. My name is Rich, 24 and graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical Univ. this past May with my MBA. Unfortunately, I still haven't landed a real full-time job so Im just working security at a local hospital.

I founded a muscle car club while an undergrad at my university, which grew to over 60 members and is still going strong 3 years later. Also a member of Central Florida f-body, and am a regular at the local car shows and cruise-ins.

I own 2 cars, a 35th anniversary Camaro SS, and an 87 Monte SS with a very worked over 355 and lots of other goodies. I also subscribe to just about every muscle car related car magazine and the mainstream ones as well. This forum (and Branen's site) are my number one source of info on the f-body and new product offerings. Keep up the great work everyone!

-Rich

I'm 25 from the south suburbs of Chicago. I work as the Technology Coordinator at the local library... it's pretty cool living only 6 blocks from work... starting work at 9:30 means waking up at 9:25, hehe.

On the side I also run a Camaro website (see link in sig) and I write trance music (hear it here ). Also, I collect diecast cars, coins, and anything Camaro related.

Currently driving my 5th Camaro - 2001 Z28, and just picked up my first Firebird - 1992 V6.

Been an F-Body addict since the age of 8, and not looking for a cure.

Hello everyone, I post in here occasionally but I read alot of what is discussed here. This is a very informative place to find out what's going on with the future of our Camaros. Anyway, my name is George and my wife Judy and I live in Orlando, FL. I just turned 54 and I'm an engineer with a major construction company. We have a 32 year old daughter who lives in Miami and she got married this year. Judy and I both drive the Camaros listed in my sig. and they're numbers 8 and 9 for me. My first being a 1977 Camaro. I did get hooked back in 1969 when I drove a couple new 69 Z28's.

I like to play golf and I build model airplanes as a hobby.

My name is Josh and I've lived in my hometown of Irving my whole life. I'm 19 and I'm a full time student at Texas Christian University, and am majoring in history. I live with both of my parents and older brother. I'm on my second Firebird, the previous one being a 1995 V6 5speed. My father is in the car business which allows me to get a closer look at many different cars. My first car-love-affair is with the Corvette. I've always dreamed of owning a Vette since I was little. My dad has owned 3 different F-bodies over the years, one being his first car a 1968 Camaro Z/28. My mom's dad just sold his 1967 GTO that he's owned since day one. I'm in the process of selling my Trans Am right now and hope to find a nice Grand Prix GTP or Monte Carlo SS to get me through college. My other obsession in life is the Dallas Mavericks. I'm also a Christian, and attend church every Sunday. I work part time at an accounts receivable financing firm in the collections department.

Thats pretty much my whole life to this point.
