I like it! It looks similar to the front of Holdens new VY models. Have a look:

Hmmm, just playing with MSPaint and tweaking a two door version of the Commodore SS...
Hey, I know its rough, but I threw it together in less than 30 minutes.

I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself.
I also think it kind of resembles the M*stang.

hmm, nice but if you want it to look better my opinion flare out the fenders from 2-3 inches, make the back rim at least 1 inch and diameter taller then the front (like the lemans cars)
...as far as the drag version goes, see what a wide but low shaker hood looks like (70s trans ams) and maybe even the exhaust like the 66 cobras where you can see the 4 into 1 headers on the out side of the car and the big exaust pipe which was like 4 inches wide

Here is my concept (NOT a complete redesign, but styling cues which I REALLY wish could have been integrated into a 2004 model) The other concepts and redesigns out there I see as like 2010 models...
http://puren12g.com/conceptLS6.jpg
- Front grill inspired by the Stratus Touring car, (retaining the big mouth design would allow 2 front mounted Cold Air Intakes / Single Intercooler)
- Hood inspired by the SuperSport, Z style, and Ultra Z style hoods, with a more sleek / integrated design (design would allow both functional engine cooling and heat extraction at speed)
- Fully INTEGRATED bodykit (not a expensive option) inspired by the Callaway Supernatural C8, and HPI Nitro Camaro (would allow functional front brake cooling ducts, design allows for a stealth appearance without having to slam the car for a aerodynamic appearance/function, design also allows the car to be low and stealth yet not scrape the front on everything...)
- Headlamps modified to a more stealth design (concept would be 6000k HID as a standard safety feature)
- Removed keyholes (keyless entry would be so reliable that manual keyholes would no longer be needed, trunk would still have manual keyhole, and a switch inside, in the RARE event of a freeze up, which would trigger the door locks)
- Smaller door handles, with modified angle (to maintain sleek lines)
- All body lines smoothed, with only Minimized / Functional seams.
- Larger H4 6000k HID Fog lamps / DRL
- Turn Signals with small amber corners with otherwise crystal clear housings
- Engine would be Supercharged or LPE Turbo charged and LS6 based
- Wheels would be 19" standard with 30/35 series tires, modified rear and very mild fender roll. (Optional 20" wheels on the rear)
- Stiff spring rates but with standard Fully Adjustable QA1 shocks
- Gear ratios and rearend strength would be completely optimized for the N/A VS. the Turbo / Supercharged model, BUT would be a factory option. Engine would be modified to reliably handle 15-18psi but to bring HP ratings down would only have 6-8psi on the showroom floor.

You should send the drawings to GM and maybe just maybe they might come up with an idea to bring back the camaro earlier than planned. They might just do what they always do sit on their a$$ and let the other industries come up with better vehicles.

Is it just me, or do all the "concepts" out there look surprizingly similar?
I want to see something that'll shock me! (Although I really did like the "drag" version.)

The drag version is very nice, and I do like the back, too, especially for just a crude drawing.
I also dig the 26" rims.
