He is paid by advertisers for traffic to his website. That's the true purpose of the over-hyped title of this thread.

Re: 2013 Chevy Impala First Look
As I said before, I have a lot of respect for Chris' artistic abilities. And, it takes a lot of effort to run a website, so don't be hard on Josh. Keep in mind, me and quite a few others had to bite our tounge and all but disconnect our keyboards when we saw the "first look" Impala. It was obviously way off, but can't do or say anything till the embargo's over.
That said, as previously mentioned, Impala has moved both upmarket and is now a direct competitor to Taurus. Taurus is highly styled, and IMHO Impala does it one better. I like how GM moved away from the "Chevrolet" front end here... a direct result of Camaro's success. It's too early to say ifChevy's next sedan next year will move away from that nose. I sent Bob Lutz a note about 6 years ago which was a copy of a post I made here. It mentioned how when I was a kid, I'd go into a Chevy showroom and you had different grilles and designs, but you still knew they were Chevys. I'd like to think that GM has come around to that view, but only time will tell.
Bottom line is that Impala, which was once the high styled (almost overstyled), fancy looking car that replaced the "old, and boring" Belair at the end of the 1950 is back.
For those who wanted RWD..... well.....umm..... lets come back and have this conversation in say... a year or so.
