I was hoping/thinking that was basically the case. Pheewww, dodged a bullet on that one I guess, the look struck me as kinda Nissan-ish (not sure why) - who knows this could have been the first real offspring of all those "Alliance" talks ya know.

It seemed to fly in the face of the earlier shots that revealed the rear end - if I recall it had razor edge-like tailllamps and it looked really good.

Assuming that we're talking CTS-V model only? Perhaps a lower output V8 will be on a CTS model, but not on CTS-V (if the V wants to go anywhere north of 500 HP).

Yes, I am thinking something along the lines of 3 engine choices for the CTS and then the V gets the big blown one... BUT!

I am going by what people have winked or hinted at FOR RIGHT NOW. But we all know that can change pretty quick
