2008 Cts.
Re: 2008 Cts.
I'll cut the hype. That was a preview at the new CTS on "60 minutes"
There was a piece that ran shortly after NAIAS '06 that GM gave the "walk through" of the show and exclusive cameras to "60 minute" that was set to aire in April or May.
Last I read/heard was that the piece was going to be overall negative.
Fast forward to "todays times" when GM is facing an onslaught of "bad news" from the media and what better way to shush them (which has worked) than to give a preview of a hot new Cadillac!
The car is the CTS show car that will debut in January, then wll go on sale in June/July. Obviously the only visible changes will be the headlamps/tail light treatment.
By the way, the production interior is every bit of fantastic as the concept will be.
Furthermore, the show was shot in an actual design studio. Not a 'mock up' like GM is normally notorious for when it comes to these types of shots.
Take it as you will but as always I know you won't take it as much.

The "60 minutes" car was something else. Wild guess? That $100K Caddy we keep hearing about, perhaps?

I would not read into things too much.
