1st Solstice Ad

What's better than the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue? A Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue with a Solstice ad on the inside front cover with a fold out for a total of four pages! I just got my issue in the mail and with anxious anticipation I started to leaf through the pages for, what else, swimsuits, and ended up stopping right after I opened the cover page. Pontiac found the right magazine and issue to spend its advertising dollars on.

This is finally the definitive look at the production version and I like it a lot. The only exception are the headlights. I think the ones on the concept were much nicer looking. I really can't wait to see this car in person.

Oh ya, the swimsuit models were exceptional too

Yeah that really is a smart move for GM. I hear 1 out of every 5 people in the entire United States pick this magazine up. That’s a lot of people that will see this ad. Very Cool!

I've got my name on the list of people to call as soon as the dealer gets ordering info.

Re: 1st Solstice Ad

I thought that Dodge had the Charger in a 2 page spread in the SI swinsuit issue. Jay Leno had an advanced copy and that is what he was drooling over.. and kept saying HEMI...

either way I think that the solstice/sky ads should really hit a nerve with audiences and be really bold. I actually like the chevy/caddy ads...
