12-16 month wait for 300C????????

Got this email off of another site from a dealer, they were reponding to the question of X plan discounts:

"We are not participating with that program, only where the 2005 Chrysler 300 is concerned. Another thing is that there is now a 12-16 month wait for build of any 300C Hemi V-8 Sedans, and 8-12 weeks for ant other model. Currently due to supplier issues, no 300 model can be ordered with a Power Sunroof."

I saw a Hemi 300C the other day.. and another 300 on a dealer lot. I'm going to have to drive around and check the dealerships and see how supply is around here.

Hmm...

Could simply mean that if you want to order a 300 with specific options you'll have to wait - with 300's and 300C's available from dealer stock only.

Heck, last week I saw a car carrier loaded with just 300C's, and this afternoon a passed by two "Clark Kent style" 300's on the road with regular plates, so they're certainly available..?

They have them on the lots here in Albuquerque, NM. If anyone wants to buy one, I'll drive it to you.

The consesus is that the dealer meant "weeks" not "months".

It has to be weeks and not months. I've never heard of an almost year and a half wait for a car....and certainly there is no 16 month wait for a RWD gangster-style sedan these days....

It's a 6-8 week wait on the 300C. Thedealer simply misspoke.

Seems that any dealer that has any 300C on the lot is lucky. The dealers around here simply have the one they use for test drives. Seems the "Cs" are gone as soon as the hit the lot.
