It is also a very different environment than the tower sitting at home. The durability testing cars go through would end up with a desktop or laptop hard drive in bits.

I just think the whole hard drive is useless. Who uses those when they'd just plug in their mp3 player/phone - or just slap a CD in there.

I would , jus dump your iPod library into the radio and leave the iPod at home or in my case ya wouldn't have to plug ur phone in everytime u get in the car . Not like that's a big deal , but still . I also hate having a bunch of cd's in the car .... HD=problem solved .
