I just put on my BMR upper arms, and they are the SAME a-arm for both sides. You just need to match up the a-arm into the car the same way the old ones came out...i.e. I believe, not looking at them, that the straight bar goes to the rear, and the curved bar goes to the front.

Just look at the old ones before you take them off and you will see how the new ones go on.

I got that part right but which side is up? check out the lip on the ball joint part, it is angled a bit...my question is, does it face up or down...thanks Randy

hmmmm....I will have to go look at them....my car is at someone else's house....If I remember right, I believe I put the angle DOWN....figuring that it would compensate for how much I intend on lowering the car....

The LOOK GOOD on the car.... Car is still on jackstands being reassembled as we speak.

Hmmm, when you say, "I believe I put the angle DOWN....figuring that it would compensate for how much I intend on lowering the car....", what do you mean by that? would it make your car lower by angling it down?

.....I here ya about jack stands, the locals are making fun of me....she's been up for 4 months now, the only thing left stock is the seats.....did you do the k-member and lower a-arms as well?

Thanks again

Well, I found my old arms in my garage at home and the angle was "up"....meaning that if the arms were in a slightly downward angle when the car was settled, the "up" bend in the ball joint area would be closer to level.

I believe I did the opposite on my car...but again have to go look on Saturday.....figuring that when I lower the car the a arms would be on a slightly upward angle and the "down" bend would compensate for that.....

I think the GOAL is to try and get the ball joint angle as close to LEVEL, as possible when the car is sitting in its loaded position. The way the ball joint surface faces will have very little effect on how low the car sits.....I have coil overs on the front and am going to lower it as much as I safely can.

I do not have the $$$ for the lower a arms and K member right now.....too much spent on other mods.
