Would these decals be accepted?

Some of you may know that im gonna either rebuild my lt1 to stock or make it a 383 stroker. And i was thinknig of maybe putting a 383 or something like decal somewhere on the body. Would this be an acceptable decal to you? Some peopel are completely opposed to decals, so i was just wondering If i did have a 383, could i put a 383 decal and look "cool"

If i do get the 383 and the decal what do you think will look best, "383" or "383 c.i" or any suggestions? Im hoping Brent will hook it up

Where do you plan on putting it?

BTW I would do 383 only or maybe a vintage 383 emblem?

I've made some pretty cool 383 decals

I've made a couple of two colored (outlined) ones for people that go under the driver side rear taillight. Made others that go on the cowl of an SS or cowl induction hood.

I think a smaller classy looking 383 type decal would be more than acceptable.

I've got a Supercharged decal on my cowl...

and on the rear...

Something like that in 383 LT1 would be pretty cool I think

You think you can show me some of the ones you made before? If i do get it i'll probably be putting it on the cowl of my ss hood, on both sides. Thanks

Just don't put the 383 decals on until you have a 383

I think just plain 383 on the side of your hood scoop would look sweet.

And if you wanted it to be very subtle, you could put it in black

Agreed!!!

I want an SS hood soooo bad but refuse to do it until I actually get the swap. The rear spoiler I'll do.

Hope you get that 383 cause i know you were planning to have a ball in the Z for the summer. BTW I extended the deadline on the CZ28.com vid.

Either there with "383 C.I. or just one that has "383" on the SS Hood Grille - unless it is gonna be functional. That way it'd be subtle - but noticeable at the same time.

If you had a cowl it would look sweet on both sides of it. I prefer more of a sleeper appearance though. As if a camaro is a sleeper.

I think a 383 on the side of the hood scoop would be cool. That's what I was thinking about doing (and yes, I do have a 383) Kinda like the vettes with the 427 on the side of the cowl or something.

As long as it's not one of those giant stickers that starts on the front-left of the hood and droops down to the fender and back to the driver's door.

Personally, I hate stickers, but they look good in the right places. If it were me, I would probably look for a vintage 383 emblem instead of a decal, but my next choice would be Brent. I have no doubt he can come up with something very cool!

Oh yeah, don't let us idiots determine what you put on your car. I'm very surprised that the rice birds haven't shown up yet, but I'm sure they'll be along soon. You do what you like and to hell with all the rice birds that want every Camaro to look like it just came from the dealership.
