Who would be interested in a different headlight assembly for 93-97 Camaro's?

Update-

Afew items...we had to put a tranny in our Z28..the time for this set us back a week.

The headlamps will allow for easily replaceable bulbs....thats our design goal.

We will either use the 90 or 50 mm units from Hella. They are very equal in light output and through proper housing deisgn we can make them look/appear the same size.

Question? The mysterious 3rd light request in the headlamp.....what would you like?
Turn signal?
Marker lamp?
No third lamp?
Fog/driving lamp?

Although some might go for the turn signal, my vote for the #3 lamp would be for Fog/driving. I think having a odd sized third lamp in the assembly will give it a little more complexity and help with the appearence of it, not to mention if it helps the light for driving/fog, more light is never a bad thing. However, if this 3rd lamp will be the difference in having the Hella 90mm and the 50mm, then ditch the 3rd lamp and go with two to keep the 90mm. Thats my vote.

I dont think it has to have a 3rd lamp. If it does I would say driving lamp. Could you put up some sketches of what the light design or layout might be?

Either no third lamp or a fog lamp for me. I'd like to see some in progress pics/sketches too.

How would we know the answer to this? If it is a question of interest, just look at how many people have viewed this thread I have started. I think it will totally depend on the finished product. As stated (many times) earlier, it will take a while for specific details (including sketches), and an even longer time for a finished product. These things don't happen over night.

If a fraction of the people interested just in this thread alone buy these, then they will be successful. I have a feeling once they are out, the 93-97 Camaro community will buy a LOT of them. Just my prediction.

I fail to see the point you are trying to make, but as I said before, if only a fraction of the 9,000 + and groing people buy these, it will still be a lot.

As I and many other people have previously stated, the headlights in our 93-97 Camaro's are the biggest thing about our cars we would change appearance wise (and probably quality of light wise).

i think your missing the point tho... i agree 10000% the lights need to be changed....the idea of putting a list of who is interested would give an idea to how many ARE serious, vs 22 pages of talk.....

At this point what does it matter? The lights will be made. To some people (myself included) just from what little we have gathered that they will be, we will buy them. For others, like I said, it will depend on the finished product, and the details that are not yet available. Until the final product is made, only then will the people that are interested but not sold yet will make their choice. And even then, it will only be a matter of time before other people who haven't read this thread see the lights either for sale, or on someones car on the street and decide to get them. For that matter, how could the number even be final?

It takes 22+ pages for over 9,000 people to reply with inputs, and state that they are interested, which they have here.

It'll have to be damn cool for me to buy it. And I'll have to see them in person, installed on a car at a car show before I'll buy them. I'm never someone who buys anything without seeing it first.
