Who would be interested in a different headlight assembly for 93-97 Camaro's?

As sold as I am on these, I agree with you. I will have to see these first. I have a feeling that it will be all we have hoped it would. Even if it doesn't, I can't imagine it being worse than the current stock setup we have.

The headlamps will allow for easily replaceable bulbs....thats our design goal.

We will either use the 90 or 50 mm units from Hella. They are very equal in light output and through proper housing deisgn we can make them look/appear the same size.

Question? The mysterious 3rd light request in the headlamp.....what would you like?
Turn signal?
Marker lamp?
No third lamp?
Fog/driving lamp?
Back on topic

I vote 2 lights. But if you go with a 3rd light make it a Driving Lamp.

The Stock front end has turn signals and Fog Lights (for those that have them). I don't see a need to clutter up the front end with additional turn signals, or markers. The stock front end looks pretty clean it just needs better lighting.

i dont think the stock lights look bad as long as you got a nice set of HID lights behind them.

Has anyone considered cutting out that little black piece on the side of the headlight pocket so that a completely new housing could be slid in and be seen from the side? I didn't have time to read all the replies to see. The new housing would have to be molded to flow into the side of the car, basically filling in the newly formed space.

Anyway, this would eliminate teh problem of dealing with something to wrap around that area, or whatever.

We have done some preliminary conceptual design to support the tooling and engineering. I am in standby mode at the moment waiting for some estimates.

Maybe a few weeks...we may not release preproduction drawings online.

This has been previously discussed. It won't happen overnight. It will probably be completed somewhere in the time frame of early summer. Although things happen, and the unexpected can come up, so be patient.

A quality product takes time. I would rather wait for something that has superior lighting quality, and an extreme attractive look, and hold up, rather than having something in a month that is of poor quality, and doesn't look good.
