As long as you don't put any non-stock body parts on it, I'd imagine the value would go up. There's nothing worse than seeing a rare car with a giant spoiler or weird hood on it. Of course, you have to think about 20 years from now if you actually still have it. You may not want a neon kit or big stupid wheels on it when you're getting close to 40 .

(if you can't tell, I'm one of the few people on here who likes to keep cars relatively stock lol)

 

When I was in the market for an LS1 there were only 2 colors that would do:
Hugger Orange (Choice #1 )
OR
Sunset Orange Metallic (Choice #2).

I couldn't find the right Hugger Orange car.
Either they were ragged or the mileage wasn't right.
Then I stumbled upon this car at a dealership a few miles from my house.
I was one of the few SOM Cars I had seen for sale.
It was in excellent shape, and the milage was low.

 

You are wrong man . Firehawks were made every production year of the 4th gen , including the 93's . Im not guessing , thats fact bro .

All the rare colors have been about mentioned , but heres the top 5 rarest .

-Medium Blue Metallic - m/y 99 only
-Hugger Orange - m/y 99 only
-Bright Green Metallic - m/y 97/98 and first couple months of 99
-Sport Gold - m/y 98 only . I think there were 7 99 gold Z28's made to fill a promo promise for a giveaway .
-Bright Purple Metallic - m/y 97/98 only . It was different that the 95-96 purple and was discontinued right after the start of 98 production . There's a Bright purple metallic 98 WS6 is town here , it weird to see a ram air car that color . I know the guy who bought it new , so it wasnt a repaint .

 

I think the steel color you're talking about is the dark green-grey metallic or purple pearl. They both look like a dark charcoal or foggy black. If it is a foggy day, and the car is dirty, I can't tell the difference between the two.

Personally, I would like one in every color I love 4th gens!

 

I wouldn't put anything on it that isn't on a Camaro from the factory for the most part. I would love to get some Z06 wheels, and I'd probably put a good hood on it if I had a V8 put in it. I told my parents I want to keep my Camaro, because if my dad would have kept his, we would have the fastest car of anyone I know personally. He had a 69 (his first car) and and 70 (his second car) Chevelle SS.

 

My uncle has a hugger orange Camaro too, I've got to tell him how rare it is before he does something that messes it up. He lets his girlfriend or whoever (except for his kids) drive his car.

 

A couple more Purple Pearl shots. Pictures don't quite capture the color, but I think it's the bluish tinted gray that has been spoken of.

There we go, I couldn't find any good pictures of that purple pearl color. It is such a strange color when you first see it. You don't really know what to call it.

 

I'm right with you, Only real visable thing on mine that I changed was the Exhaust to the Borla because it was the only system offered for the V6 back then but I appreciate the stock or very close to it Camaros WAY more then the modded ones too

On that note, Mine's pretty rare, Cayenne red, I've only seen maybe 5 since I bought mine 3 years ago I figured mine out the best I could,
It's not a very low # but I'm one of 1,301 V6 A4 T top 1998 Camaro's with Gray Cloth, power options, 3:08 gears, tape deck monsoon, and body colored roof.

I've never seen one like mine which makes it cool.

Has anybody ever even seen a Quazar Blue Met. 93 Z28 . It was offered in 93 , but Ive never seen a pic or a actual 93 Z that color . I know there was plenty of that color in 94-97 though .

 

As 90 Z28 SS said, they made Firehawks at least every year of the LT1 4th gen. I didnt look into the LS1 generation cars. Heres the page that someone showed me(cant take all the credit!) where I got my info.

Hey Chrisz24, how do you figure out how many cars are like your's? I've always wondered, but never figured out how. My '95 Z28 should be pretty rare, it is completely stock minus the missing rubber thing from the only drink holder haha. What should make it rare is that it has the black roof, side mirrors, and door handles, no T-tops, and ebony leather interior. That wouldn't make it incredibly rare, but still, it's a highly desirable look for the 4th gens in sebring silver. I think the only thing that would detract from it is having that damn front license plate bracket. The red chevy logo underneath it is beautiful but the holes drilled in the front (like all early 4th gens with the bracket) look really bad so I don't take it off.

But if I had a V6 Camaro I would modify the exhaust too, I love dual exhaust.

90Z28SS if you check ebaymotors.com often, you can see just about everything Camaro. I believe I have seen quasar blue '93 Camaros but couldn't say for sure. Most of the ones I see look a little darker than the quasar blue on 95 and up.

 

When I was in high school(graduated 2002) a kid had a blue camaro it was either 94 or 95 but a lady t-boned him and bent the frame so the ins co totaled it so he got a white z28
