What do you use to clean paint before applying emblems?

I recently had my front clip repainted and i bought new z28 badges to go on their. What do i use to clean all the impurties and stuff from the paint before I go and applying the new side Z28 badges. Also what is the best way to remove the front Chevy emblem? I bought a new one that I painted silver, and and all the emblems are going to have silver overlays on them, same with the rear camaro fill ins.

Rubbing alcohol is what you want. It won't damage the paint, but it will take off *all* the wax (or Zaino if that's your poison). So, just rewax/repolish the area after you get the badges on.
Good luck,
Shane
