Lightbulb Vertical Doors???

I am not sure if this has been asked b4, attempted or even possible on a 2000 Z-28. I really would like to have this done or do it myself if its going to cost me the same $$$ as a new house. Can vertical doors be done on a Camaro?? If you think it cant let me know why, and if it can please direct me to resources so that i can have it done. Thanks

You may want to wait for these to be released: http://www.voodoodoor.com/ it looks as though with these hinges no external body modification would be necesary.

I personally like the idea of vertical doors on Camaro's; but most don't share that opinion. The only thing I REALLY don't like about the kits that are on the market now; is that you have to open the door out then up. Plus you have to shave part of your front quarter panel down to allow clearance for the mirrors.

Go to www.autoloc.com, they have complete kits, and technicians that can help with which one would fit your car. I'm putting vertical doors on my Camaro and thats who I'm buying from. They told me that I don't have to do any modifcations to my car they just bolt on. The kit I'm getting is about $1500.

Hope it helps....

The only problem with Camaro doors is the mirror, because the mirror goes into the fender.

Hmm, what about reverse vertical flip ups?
I mean, instead of going into the front panel, they go into the rear quarter.

I've seen pics of reverse vert doors. They look like a retared seal trying to clap; very ugly.
