Drive fast 4 fun,

I'm liking the initial look of what you have done. Can you go into any detail as to what modifications are done to the housing and what type of LIGHTS your using in the housing. My car is a 96 WS6 (silver) and this is the absolute closest I have ever seen anyone get on this type of project for the 93-97 (T/A's) you should be congratulated just for the attempt If your trying to keep some of this design to yourself feel free to answer any questions through my e-mail or PM. Thanks Mike

agreed, i think with a few touch ups and perfections this could be a very marketable setup.

As cool as that would be I don't think it's going to be that feasible. Look at the design of the headlight door. There's NO WAY that's going to do a 180* flip and work. But if you were to have a custom door made, but then you're talking about needing a custom hood to match the new door. Good idea, but 99.9% not going to happen.

Drivefast4fun, looks great. It almost looks like it needs to open a tad bit more, but really outstanding work man!

Re: Trans Am Sleepy Eyes

Helluva informative video man!!! That answered a ton of questions.

Do you think you'll be able to wire everything up to that it acts like factory I.E. pull the turnstalk to actuate the high beams???

Re: Trans Am Sleepy Eyes

Now I am very interested in this if your going to make a kit ? I agree with fastbird 93. It would be nice if the lights work from the factory style settings. It looked like you had most of it figured out in the video and yes the video was very informative. Thanks for taking the time to show love for the LT1 Trans am guys !

I will have to see......if anything, what would you change about my idea so far? I am not completely happy with the surround, but it is a start, and on the platform that holds the lights, I am currently working on a single piece instead of the two seperate ones.
Yeah i guess the only thing i would want to change would be the surround.

Re: Trans Am Sleepy Eyes

looks really nice. heck of a lot brighter too. which leads to my only question..are those bulbs so close to the front bumper, that they can do some 'melting' or warping by the high heat produced? compared to stock bulbs..which are much lower wattage i take it, and safer for the fiberglass
but looks nice
