Don't get you hopes up it's just a photoshop but it would be a great idea. Maybe the guy doing to corvette lights could try this...

Well that is very interesting… I think it could look good w/a little more work and detail (the wing should not come over the back of the bumper, etc.) But! The only problem with something like this is that the aerodynamics might be messed up if not designed right (im just guessing) and this would prolly be very expensive!

For now I like just the vette tailights lets not overload whistler yet hehe

Try chopping your camaros roofline down a few inches and then doing the corvette rear like this hehe http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/4...1c880000000410

I think the roofline is already sleek enough on my Z. I just dont like the rear bumper itself...

Well then do something about that bumper! Then you can do mine next. I'll even drive it up to the cities for you!

The kit from LAPD that is 225 is only the white/red euro tailights, if you want the amber it is like 349. the dilemna is that you either will get 4 white/red euros, or 4 amber/red(which won't work, you need some white, for reverse. I talked to my guy from GM, and he gave me prices on the euro's

white/red euro's...........40 bucks each
amber/red euro's..........60 bucks each

Plus shipping and handling also

so for 200 bucks we can have ours look like the picture i posted of the pewter one with a white and red and a white and amber on each side, looks better, and is what we need for the easiest functional setup. As soon as whistler is done with the tail section, and i have mine in hand i will order these from GM

Not to burst any ones bubble. But some of you guys are hypocrites. If this was done to a import you would be all over saying it's rice. Say a normal Civic put an accord bumper or something of that nature. Or putting Type-R Badges on a non Type-R car. This is pretty much the same concept. I just wanted to bring that up. And because I hate it when people blab on and on about how terrible "rice" is.
On another note, I think this is an awesome idea. And I hope it does go through. Just because I love seeing different things on a camaro. I give a huge thumbs up for the guy that is taking his time to make this item. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Actually this is what is called a hybrid/custom taillight conversion... nothing more... nothing less.

On a import, this would still be a hybrid taillight conversion.
It is only when someone puts on fake emblems or fake stickers that makes it rice.

These taillights couldn't be rice unless someone puts actual Vette emblems or calls their car a vette now... and I hope no-one does that.

Well it's just that I've heard a lot of people call rice, when guys put bumpers from other cars on their car. And I'm sure some people who think this is cool would say the same thing if it was done to an import. You've gotta know where I'm coming from Paul. I really don't care one way or the other, since I think this is a great idea. Just wanted to express my opinion.
