To those interested in C5 rear panel

I got the C5 lights in the other day and started the project today.
I'll have some pics in a week or two. Initially I thought it might not work because the C5 lights are deep... like 4" deep... but there's just enough room for the light and the bulb socket.

I'll want around $125- 150 for the panel, and these are lights are $68 each list price. I can get them for $50 each, but you still need 4. So while this won't be cheap, it will be unique.

For 150 bucks, put me on the list, my question is, will the factory harness work? i assume it should work, as long as the socket in the back of the C-5 lights are the same shape as the F-body ones, then it's just matching them up, brake/running light, directional/reverse. I think this is gonna look sweet, send me pics and final prices please when you are done, painted or primered, any pic will be cool. Perfect christmas present for myself.....hehe

Thanks for all your help dude. oh, whatever happened to your spoiler project?

Im really interested in this idea, it looks cool and I think it would be a unique and different look for a camaro. Plus it would seperate my Camaro from all the hundreds of other ones I see on the road every day. I cant wait to see how they will look after they are completed.

I would like to see pics as well.

That is a very reasonable ballpark price too.

Hey Whistler, I am very interested and glad its going to work out... that is fairly cheap! I haven't been to the board in a few days or else I would have been first in line!!! I can't wait until it's finished!

Click Here for a quick idea of what it might look like.

Thumbs up Awesome!

Whistler: Count me in as a possibility (most likely a definitely once I see the final product)! I would love to see pics of this setup once it is complete. Good luck with the project, hopefully everything goes well! Keep us updated! Email me here.
