I recently broke down and gave up on trying to keep original tail light assemblies on my 1995 Z28.

I got these tail lights Spyder Tail Light Assemblies from CARID (a forum Vendor Sponsor,
They are a good price, well made, and fit well.

I also upgraded to LED bulbs and I changed the sockets to both be dual filament bulb sockets. This illuminates two bulbs for the tail lights, brakes, and turn signals. Yes, I had to put in the load resistor to get my turn signals to blink properly. FYI I originally had white bulbs. When I used the white bulbs the middle lens was pink as compared to red on either side. I'm guessing this was due to the construction of the tail light assembly. I purchased bulbs. Now my lights have identical color output.

I really like the look on my Polo Green '95 Z28 Convertible.
