Trans AM Tail light bulb connectors

I am trying to fix a tail light problem that I am having. My driver side tail light is half out. Parking lights work but when you step on the brakes the parking lights go out and the brake lights dont come on. The weather pack connectors that hold the bulbs are rusty, because my tail light had water in it. I called Dal to get some new connectors but, for 130 dollars for 3 connectors 1 reverse, and 2 stop/tail lights I just cant do it.

Has anyone ever taken one of the connectors apart?

I have them out but they look like a sealed up unit.

Ae there any aftermarket distributors of these things out there?

Suggestions please......

TIA

I had this same problem on my old TA. I wouldnt be able to remember the part number now, but they carry them at Oreilly, I just had to go through their cross reference manual and look at the pics till I found one that was the same, they were like $2-3 a piece.

Cool, I wonder if autozone or Advanced would have them. Thanks, WS6NIGHTMARE

GM three wire sockets and 2057 bulbs. I got mine at a Pep-Boys store. Just have to spend some time splicing the wires.

But I must have spliced something wrong...

I always wanted to put that kit on my old TA.

Also ta4me, while you're there you may consider drilling a hole or two to drain out the water that collects in TA tail lights.

Got them last night and and put it all together, wasn't to bad. My leeft tail light is messed up and I need a new one. The cover and the inside are coming apart. But I did drill some holes in it about a year ago.

Thanks Guys!
