Lights/Bulbs

The tail lights have 4 bulbs each. What is the stock configuration. The reason I ask is because i am in Sweden and I think someone previous owner has changed the placement of bulbs to get the right color for backup lights/ side markers etc in this country.

So if we look at the left tail light from the left to the right. What are bulb 1, 2, 3, 4?

And btw, how/when/why should the red, square shaped lights on the rear sides glow?

Then I know why I don't have any backup/reverse lights. That is the only place with clear/white glass. I have an amber light there, connected to direction indicators.
You must have amber indicators here (in this country).

Don't you have any rear indicators in the tail lights?

Just noticed you have a Z28. On the 97+ camaro, there's an amber indicators on US models. I assume you have export tail light. Maybe somebody with a camaro can help you here.

in the US, an amber turn indicator is not required in the rear, therefor many American cars use the brake light(red) on each side to blink for a turn indicator, and an amber in front

If you want to have clear reverse lights, get a set of 97 tail lights( they have running/night lights w/brake lights incorperated, an amber turn indicator, and a clear/white reverse) , and rewire as needed to get all the lights operating correctly

EDIT: oh, and the rear side lights(side markers) should be on anytime the night/running lights are on
