Switch Plate finished... How do I hide the glue?

I made a Switch Plate out of Plexi Glass where the old Den used to be right infront of the shifter on the 97 + Models... However since it's glass, it also shows the glue I used to mount it with. I was asking for ideas as to how I could hide the glued outlines under and on the edges of the plexiglass / dashpanel... I was thinking maybee a plastic frame to fix this up!... Where can I get a frame cut right though?

Why not paint the panel to match you interior?

or if you want the clear look use polished screws to hold it on.

I would just paint it. If not the polished screw idea isn't bad either.

Re: Switch Plate finished... How do I hide the glue?

I didn't paint it because I had a light up switch and thought it would be cool to see a lit up switch at night...

It's glued on there so I can't paint it now... even if I could it still wouldn't hide the glue deposites that surround the Plexi Glass that are stuck on the console... I was thinking I could hide it with a Frame but any other ideas?...

I was thinking maybee a frame from a plastic shop that would hide the glue on my Plexiglass and Plastic Interior spot... Any other ideas?

Go purchase some pinstripe material of the proper width from an auto parts store. Put a pinstripe border around the edges to bascically make the very edges black (or whatever color) and this will hide the glue.

Did it! looks MUCH better... I have a question... in the future when all the switches are completed, is it possible to have a plastic shop or someplace wield the PlexiGlass to the plastic for a more natural look?

Yes. But, that "yes" depends on how much you want to spend... if you don't do plastic/fiberglass work yourself, having somebody else do it (and do it custom) can get expensive.
