Once I added a relay so the coil would simulate a bulb, it all came back to normal.

I used a resister, but here's the diagram for a relay:

A relay coil can dissipate heat better than a small resistor. That is why most people like the relay.

I just dont' get it, so what do I have to buy? And then what to do I do with it? I really need a pic of it done on a real car so I can see how it goes. I'm really confused, not to bright with this kinda stuff, I work on motors lol.
Re: New SS Wing Installed and I need help!!
I personaly had to rewier my their break light with a relay. Under the interior pannel of the hatch back I took the two wires from the wiering harnes. I blieve yellow and black. I pluged the black wire into pin 85 and the yellow wire into pin 86. I took the ground from the spoiler LED light and pluged that into pic 85 as well. From there I taped into a known 12V power sorce, I juse used taped into the yellow wire from the wiering harness adn attached that to pin 30. Now for a quick over view of thats going on. Power is comming in the yellow wire through the coil in the relay and out to the ground black wire of the wiering harness. Now that solves the abs/cruise controle problem but I have no 3rd break light. But when you step on the break pedal the armature in the relay will switch from 87 to 87a, or it may be the other way around can't remember off the top of my head. From here I took the positive wire for the 3rd break light into either one of those pins. Just hold the break pedal and see whitch one lights up the 3rd break light. If you have any questions just feel free to ask me. Now I know some of you are going to say that this was over kill but its they only way I could get it to work and I tried almost everything. I tried the thing where you just use to relay but I couldn't get it to work and I tried every since combiniation I could think of. as this was the only thing I could think of to make it work and it does perfactly.

Well I don't have Cruise control (not installed on the car) but my ABS seems to work fine and no ABS light so are you sure it's for every car that is 93-97 and not OBDI specific or cars w/ abs and cruise control?

I hate this f***ing 98+ SS spoiler i wish i had my old 96-97SS spoiler back. 96camaroz28lt4- I've read that 96+ cars don't seem to have the problems 93-95 cars do.
