I have a 94 Z28 with a 4l60e, I want to get rid of the stock shifter and put in a aftermarket B&M or something similar. The problem is this is my daily driver and I still want the interior to look good. If any body has any tips or products please let me know. I am also doing a small cam upgrade, valve spring upgrade and roller rockers. I dont know alot about the lt1 motor and i was wondering what would be a good cam and spring size to upgrade to?

 

You need to seperate this into two questions. You'll get some help with the shifter on this forum, but the LT1 cam questions will get better results in "LT1 Based Engine Tech".

 

Here is mine, came out of a 3rd gen Firebird. The selling point for me was the grooves where your fingers go. This is one of my favorite mods to the car! Its a direct replacement too, no modifications needed.

 

Hey, I started a thread on here showing my B&M Mega shifter install on my 95. I need to add some more pics showing the 6-speed boot and cover on it now. It worked out great and was a breeze to do.
