Question Questions about Painted Calipers...

I am getting ready to paint my brake calipers. I have a can of base paint and a can of clear.

Can I do all four calipers with one can of paint?

Thanks, in advance!

Yes you should be able to do it with one can. Light coats are the key.

What paint are you using ?

What prep did you do ?

Are you using high temp clear coat ?

I bought one can of PlastiKote's Brake Caliper Paint (Red).

I am planning on wire brushing and sanding them. I also bought this metal treatment stuff that is supposed to prep it for painting.

I did get the hi temp clear.

Does that sound ok for the project?

Make sure you spray the rotor too. If you have enough left over, spray some on the base of your wheels too. I did that with my honda, and it turned out great.

Jk, make sure you post some pics when your done, I am doin mine soon too.
