Unhappy A question from the UK and please don’t laugh

Please help, I have a 1999 Camaro Z28 with a small problem (me).
When I was washing the car I tried to open the hood when I had both the windshield wiper arms in their up position, luckily I stopped before I did too much damage but now the one on the passenger side looks like it may a be twisted where it is bolted to the wiper motor because the arm should be resting on a piece of rubber and it is not, they do still work but if I don’t fix it, it will start to mark the plastic cowl. I have removed the plastic cover and the nut from the wiper arm but I can’t get the wiper arm off the motor, do you think it is bent and I just need to pull harder or is there something else that I need to know?

I had to use a battery post remover. Worked just fine.

Atleast you didn't do what my brother did with his 00' SS. He opened his hood with the wipers up and cracked the windsheild.
