I want to get rims. Mine are stock 16's right now. What's the biggest size can I go to without any modifications?

 

There doesn't seem to be any practical limit. Your stock rims are 16x8". Popular replacement sizes include 17x9.5, 17x11 (rear only), 18x9.5, 18x10.5 (rear only), and a few people running 19" and 20" diameter wheels. The idea is to keep the outside diameter of the tire approximately the same as stock, which is around 25.65". That gets difficult when you go beyond a 19" wheel.

The 10.5" and 11" wide wheels might take some minor tweaks of the fender wells, but nothing major.

 

I'm in the same boat.My 99 Z has stock 16s,I'm going to go w/ 275/35/17 in front and 315/35/17 in rear.

I would go 17's

 

Why? 18's too big?

 

Go with 17s man I think that they are the best looking on an F-body 18s are cool but 17s just look better IMOP.

19's if you can afford it (and you have ground effects)

20's if you plan to enter car shows (and you have ground effects)

 

ditto all of that! of you go big on the wheels, u hafta have ground effects IMO
