Saw the bulletproof tint thread and thought about this. How much does tint usually run for a 2 door car with hatch? I know I should just go get price quotes, but is there anything I should be looking for?

its too bad I'm so dedicated to performance it will probably be forever before I get around to it. So next paycheck...fix the windshield(1 foot long crack), or buy downpipe and pocketlogger....

Window tint is one of the best mods' you can do IMHO. That and white face guages...dont get me wrong im not going rice, im just saying that those are 2 things that you look at more than anything in the car, anything you can do to make it easier on the eyes is a must for me, expecially when you drive the car as much as some of you guys do.

 

My tint was $200, I upgraded the tint to some better stuff, and the guy did the rear hatch in one peice.

Well worth the $200

 

Mine was $150 for the hatch which was done in one big piece. $50 for both sides window, and $30 for tint across the eyebrow of the windshield. All with a life time warrenty.

 

For you guys that have tinted the rear hatch on your Camaros, did you put the tint over the black little dots on the top section of the rear hatch glass? I've heard that some people have had bubbles form when they tinted over the dots, so some people have their rear hatch only tinted up where the dots start and not over the dots. Any input on this would be great bc I too want to get my windows tinted. Thanks in advance.

Both me and my cousin have one peice on the hatch (he has defroster too) and they both cover the "black dots" not a problem on either car. These are both 3rd gens.

 

Im getting mine done tommarrow for 125 bucks.

 

most good shops use a gel on the dots to get it too look right... the tint goes over the gel and seals up nicely ... when it drys its all black as it should be

 

150 for all 3 windows, 20%.

 

I love tinted windows on mostly everything but F-Bodies. If I had my choice my cars would be all 20'd out. Please post pics!!
