Question about a decal....

Anyone know where I can find a (preferably cheap) decal that says "LT1" or "5.7L V8" ? Something not too big, I was looking to put it on the small black plastic plate that's on the intake manifold. Something in white or silver.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Question about a decal....

Are you talking about a throttle body plate?
I dont think Brent makes one, but if you tell him what size you need; I'm sure he'll custom make it for you.

Thanks guys, yeah I was looking a little more last night after I posted this and I came across his website, so I e-mailed him about it last night. We'll see what I can get done.

Re: Question about a decal....

I shot Brent an e-mail about two days ago and I haven't gotten a response yet.

I understand that he may be really busy. Has anyone else ever done business with him? I just wanna know if he usually takes a long time to respond to messages or if I should send him another one in a few days. Thanks.

Hey GT Killer! I'm sure I have your email still sitting on the server. I took a lightning strike/power surge around mid week which took out my computers, vinyl computer, basically it disconnected me from the world outside my house

I have verified I have not lost any data (hard drives still good) but am currently working on building new computers. I haven't read your email yet and it might be a few days before I get back up and fully running but I'll definitely shoot you an email back.

Very sorry for the delay... I had multiple surge protectors and all that jazz but still got nailed. Bummer!

Hey, don't worry about it bro..........take your time. Whenever you get the chance, it's no big deal.

Thanks!

Will vinyl even stand up to the heat of the throttle body cover plate?
Just curious, seems too hot to put vinyl on it to me.

I dont see why not. Brent also make the decal stripes for the fins on the LT-1 intake manifold and from personal experiance they have help up very well.

I've actually made a few throttle body plate decals and they hold up fine. The good high quality vinly can withstand the temps in the engine compartment no problem

Yes, but I need to redesign mine to round off the corners of the checkers. I've sold a few sets of these and two worked fine but one guy said the sharp corners started to come up a little on a couple. Might have been an installation issue but just in case, I'm redoing them to take the sharp corners off. Won't be able to do this for a while though because I've gotten behind a bit with some computer issues.
