please help, need some advice on lowering

I want the lowered look for my TA, I'm thinking around 1.5-2 inches. I'm looking for a kit that meets these requirements.

1. that provides a smooth comfortable ride rather than a stiff perfromanced based ride.
2. that still allows convienent ground clearence.
3. that won't require any addtional parts or atleast not many.

I'm really just doing this for the looks so i would prefer a kit that will give a nice smmoth ride. What do you guys reccomend?

Get the DMS springs. There are three good reasons for them:

1. They are sponsors of the board
2. They look good and lower the car just right
3. They are on sell right now for $187.50 shipped

That makes them better than any other spring out there IMO.
I will be installing mine this weekend.

Talking

I don't know anything about the DMS kit...I have the Eibach ProKit on my car and have had zero problems. The ride is very similar to stock...I really haven't noticed the car being any rougher or stiffer than normal.

I don't scrape any more than I did stock either...just be a little more cautious about where you go or how you angle in or out of places and no spring will be much of a problem, IMO.

And you don't have to install anything else if don't really want to...I installed lca relocation brackets and an adjustable panhard bar at the same time but you could get by without them.

Pics are in the sig...page 2.

thanks for the serious respones, I'm finally getting serious about doing this so i'm really concerned about ride quality above all else, Can someone tell me who sells the DMS Kits? I've never heard of them.

Here is the link to the post by Eric for the springs. FYI they are red powdercoated and look really good.

if you are worried about ride quality, then you may also want to think about getting some adjustable shocks so you can configure your ride to almost what you prefer. I've got KYB AGX on mine and they are awesome shocks. I can really feel the difference when I change the damping settings on them to stiffen or loosen the ride. Also I would suggest getting an adjustable panhard rod when you lower your car. That's about the minimum requirements to lower it. But I would also suggest a relocation bracket and bump steer (especially the bump steer if you are concerned about ride quality).
