Also how long until the interior starts to damage? like chip, crack , things like this. How long have you had your interiors done?

Re: Painted interior
Quick question...
Im planning on redoing my interior this winter when I redo my entire car, 383 ,paint etc. as is right now my interior color is lt grey and black and all of the rear panels are grey. I want to re paint them all black and then clear coat. Question is though, how did you prep all of the plastic surfaces to remove the years of trim shine and protectant before painting. I was thinking of using something like acetone to do it and then just black krylon over that with a clearcoat.
Is there a better way to do this or will this work just fine??
Thanks guys,
-john

Removed the panel from the car, painted it black with Krylon's Fusion spray paint (works really well, btw..) and then masked it all up, cut the outline of the flames into the tape, removed the tape covering the flames, and then painted it red. Came out decently, just gotta make sure you got sticky tape so it doesn't bleed, otherwise it's a really easy thing to do.

Re: Painted interior
thanks
It's always nice to hear positive comments. Did it all freehand too..
taped up
painting red...
remove tape
was pretty easy, the masking tape I used didn't stick for nothin, so there was overspray in a few areas but a little touch up and it looks good. A very easy thing to do.
