HOLY COW!! I don't even know what I want now that there are so many options. MAD, (Mike) you are AWESOME!!! We will definately be doing some business! I know for sure I want a billet polished badge that says LT1. I also want a Z28 badge for the back, not sure whether to get the Z06 style or the original style. If I got the Z06 style the insert would be red, since my car is red. Decisions decisions...

Mad, a few questions for you:

Will these be polished?

Will these have an adhesive backing for immediate application?

I'm definitely in if they are polished. I'll send you an email...

Mad,

E-mail me... webmaster@orindahoops.com

Yes, I was talking about the o.g. Z28 badges, but now that I've seen the Z06 style I'm confused.

However, I'd like to do business, I also may have some friends interested.

These look pretty good IMO but don't forget...might want to put a "small" slant in them to fit the body of the car. Its not flag like a ruler but a little bent. Just an FYI.

Also I am still trying to find a way to get these identical to the Z06 badges but instead Z28. For some reason these badges just don't do it for me. MBA has yet to email me back so I don't plan on doing business with a company that doesn't like to talk with their customers at all.

If MAD is our only resource for making the badge, then I guess I'll get a few badges from him.

Gents and gentiles,

This is what I have come to thus far:

ZL1 (LS6 Camaro)
http://community.webshots.com/photo/...55458593cGzKiZ

ZL1 John Moss Style
http://community.webshots.com/photo/...55676661EIxpvv

OEM Z28 in billet
http://community.webshots.com/photo/...55685046NFcivq

Z06 style Z28 badge

Z06 style w/HP signature (I will be refining this one some more though)
http://community.webshots.com/photo/...55699406yKrsRT

Just for the hell of it, I made this jiffy 'Z06 style Z28' throttle body cover. Kinda interesting.

I'm going to try to clean up the other designs I've been working on and delete them out of the webshots folder. These are the pieces so far, so ignore all the other links I've posted.

My e-mail addy is mad_machinist@aussiemail.com.au

edit: Another thing here guys.. these are just computer models. Texture and realism is a tough thing to get sometimes. Have confidence that the real things will look much better, that I can assure you.

I will be in touch! Thanks.

Dang! That throttle body plate is nice! I might have to reconsider the whole thing. Maybe that throttle body plate with matching side emblems would be cool!

I'll have to think about it! Keep us posted!

Nice work MAD!! You have some awesome designs. Is it possible to make the original badge posted in this thread? I like the idea of having the engine size on the badge and I love the way these look. Here's what they look like.

Thanks. Also, what are the chances of getting you to make some LT1 badges. Just something simple that says LT1 in billet? Can you make some designs up?

Thanks Mike, Hope to be doing business with you soon!

hey mad,
Thanks for doing all of this and helping us out the throttle plate is awsome. Is there any way that you can reproduce the design like MIKE is also talking about. Thanks again for all of your help.

MAD!! Awesome!! Can't wait to see what you'll come up with. I'll be waiting anxiously. I have all the time in the world to play with the car now, she's in storage in one of my garages for the winter. I really want that Z28 badge (with 350 ci and a RED insert) for the back and an LT1 badge for the back as well. Thanks for all you are doing. Many of us appreciate it VERY much. I know I sure do.

Mike,

I'm seriously interested in a set (3 ea) of the original Z28 emblems in billet and a matching red anodized bow-tie for the rear.

Thanks.
