Ha ha. . .didn't any of you guys have pagers back in the day ? ?

. . . I had no idea that GM already took the Z06 emblem and modifed it for the ZL1. That should silence the critics , although everyone has their own taste, and it might even be too "bling" for my own car.. can't wait to see the finished product though ! !

I'd be all about the red with just Z28 on it, that would be bad ***, it's either that or the 69 Z badges this winter, i debadged the car 2 years ago, since it's black, i liked the clean look, and as funny as it is, there are actually some dumb**** mustang guys that still wanna play, with the 3",no cats, and procharger whine, thinking i am a six cylinder. Boy should you see there faces as i run away from them

Ahh... I think I figured it out. I don't want to post my thoughts though. Gotta leave it a mystery for everyone else.

I saw the ZL1 badges in a magazine today. They look pretty cool.

I want to stay on topic here, but just for the sake of saying it...
I don't think the concept of these badges is "ricey" at all...I very much like them...I just don't want to make it to where it is just totally derrogatory to the Z06 though to use them in a unmannerly fashion...but you guys can all decide for yourself what that is...

If I were MBA I would jump all over this opportunity, because they both make high quality products, and would start a trend.

This is totally different than putting Type 12 on your car...Right Paul -

exactly... although I would pay good money to see a ever-so-powerful Type 12 engine swapped into a Z ha ha ha

I love them... I would definitely buy the Z 28 ones (without the other stuff on them) in the red or black.....

This is the biggest thread I've ever had...cool

Once I get back into work on Monday, I'll let everyone know what MBA has decided to do. I am guessing they will give a price request for about $60-80. I was "hoping" to get 3 badges for around $70. I guess we will see what happens.

Does anyone know another company that can produce these badges besides MBA?

I'm going to check...

I'm going to check with a local sign making shop on these things but it will probably be Friday if then...maybe I can check Thursday afternoon, we shall see. I know that they have made a few different "emblems", but I would say that they will be plastic...but if they look good enough, I don't see what it would matter...

So, will everyone still be interested if they are plastic (gray presumably), and still look good, even if they aren't billet? I think it would look pretty good still yet, but I just want to know before I go through the trouble of finding out...

No promises on them being made, but I will check when I get the chance.

I think they look pretty sweet too. I would be up for buying one of those if someone could make it.
