You da man pu123n12g!!!!
Vote for the most screwed up name in CZ28.C...
It took me like 9 months to figure out what it meant...

That mean you don't like Corvette wheels on F-Bodies?
Nope, that's why he has ZR1 "STYLE" Wheels on his car...(not ZR1 wheels, but ZR1 style...)

I think the badges would be very nice. I hate to think of taking away from a Z06 seeing as how it is upheld as one of the nicest american sports cars every made IMO, but it would be OK...

I totally agree with Ernster though...then you could use them on an LS1 correctly (346 C.I.)...

All very sweet Paul,
but I think the Yellow/Blue are leaning to much toward "uncool" (respecting your "rice" boundaries...)
The black would be ok I suppose, but I think in order to keep it from being just plain degrading to the Z06, it would have to stay red or black...just my $.02

Well, since I wouldn't put anything red on my car I had to come up with sumthin else

If these went into production, they would only have to be the basic color though. Colormatching the inserts for the Z would be the easy part...

My $20 says that either Afterthoughtsauto or Procarparts will be selling these within a year..

I just thought of something... MBA likes to do alot of custom ordered shiat... maybe they would be up for this... since it's a small part. Then we could get 341 HP, 307 HP... whatever we dyno, we can put that on there

I dont really think its ricey but then again I suppose i'm the only one who still has the classic stereotype of what rice is.

Around here rice was 'rice burner.' It was associated with small import cars due to a stereotype of Chineese/Japaneese people and eating rice. Hence, it was joked that the cars ran off of rice instead of gas. As time progressed these cars got louder and people began to 'Express Themselves' and as they tried to go faster with their 'rice burners' they became 'rice rockets.' As they began to get old and beaten up they were called 'white rice trash.' Now the 'rice' association is thrown around more than a $5 *****!

I'll stop there for now. Beauty and artistical impressions therin are strictly in the eye of the beholder.

I like them. I would need the Z to be orange to match my stripes. I like the 5.7 liter my self. Who can make them out there in internet land.

There is a Vette site that sells some like this that say LS1 but they are really expensive. I'll see if I can find the link though (I hang out at the Vette forums a lot for ideas).

I have sent MBA a request to produce this product. I asked if they have the ability to produce it (which should be a yes), then if they would be interested in being the first to produce it (which should be a yes), and if all above are yes, how much would he be willing to sell this for. I included to tell him we had a high number of people who would be interested in this idea so he would definitely have the "first" chance on the market for this.

ps-This emblem is different from putting a "Type Z28" on my car. I'm taking the look off the Z06 and placing it on my car. At the same time, I'm taking the Z06 corvette rims and putting them on my car. RICE or NICE??? I personally think this is nice but to each his own. I just want to be more different then any other camaro in my town, and keep "taste" the main look of my car.

Camaro's are a nice car, stock. But I believe one guy said taking the Z06 emblem and making it a Z28 emblem would be ricey. Then later on he adds "So that is why I am keeping my older Z28 emblem with the slash". What is the difference in him taking his emblem off an older Camaro and me taking it off a Corvette? If this is created and looks nice, I don't see how it would "reflect" on the reputation and respected image of the Z06.

I think the badges would look sweet on your guy's Z's. I think the simple ones that don't have hp, or engine size looked the best. Oh and on the comment these are rice....These badges in no way make the car look fastsr or try to be something its not. You commented on the type R stickers, IMO those are rice because they are making someone believe you have a car you do not. There really are type R cars and these people are trying to pass their car off as one. I think taking a badge off an old maro is closer to this then these badges would be. I mean you don't have an old z28 just as they don't have a type R. I will comment I do like the old emblems though, just used his own example as an arguement. thats my 2¢

There's a simuliar badge on the GMMG ZL-1 Camaro, but it says ZL-1 - looks just like the Z06 badge - I think it looks good.
Here's the ZL-1 but you can't see the emblems that well.

Thumbs up

I like it. It's something difference, but I don't consider it to be rice. It's like saying it's rice to put a Firehawk rims on a Camaro or vice versa. The badge is very interesting though.

There's a way better pic of it on the airlid in the pic of the engine bay. Looking at it, it looks exactly like the Z06 badge but with L1 instead of 06. Looks good IMO.
