Need a quick answer. Question about rolling rear fender to fit 335's.
I got some 335's on my ttII rims in the rear. I have the eibach pro kit. 1" drop. When I did the drop the 355's rubbed the top of each fender. So I took some adjustable spring clips from autozone and raised the back up about 3/4".
I want to have the car ride normal now with the eibachs and withought the adjustment clips.
My question. Is it possible and how do I do it? I need and rear fender to flare out about 3/4" to clear the meats nicely. I already have the inner lip bent in and flush with the outter fender. I need the entire rear fender edge to bulge out about 3/4".
Can I use a baseball bat to roll it?
This is a 94z so im not tooooooo worried about messing it up. I just want it to look good.
If its not possible unless a body shop does it then ill just get some different tires.
Thanks!
Joe

I rolled the fenders on an old MG I had with a baseball bat once. The only problem I had was that it kinda started cracking the paint where I rolled it which isn't good because that's one of the first areas rust will start to attack...the wheels! Also...I think that rolling an f-body fender would take quite a bit more force than the thin metal of that old MG...Just my .02. if you do it though...take some pics and let us know how it worked!
Check this post on the Drag Racing forum. Look for the post by "tnthub" with the link to a photo of the rolled fenders on his Camaro.... I think he did it himself.
